![]() ![]() Quite frankly I can't blame people for not wanting to join either as there is no real incentive to do so. The team I was on started having people leave and has not been able to fill any open positions in the past year. When bringing this to management I was told that it was basically too bad because Lumen has a no raise policy in place. I often felt unappreciated and began to realize I was severely undercompensated when comparing to industry standards (over 30% less). I enjoyed the first year as I had so much more of a work-life balance but as I continued on things began to go south. If you're looking for a company to get a start into your career in telecommunications then keep looking because the folks here at Lumen are worse than when it was Century Link and they still cling to the old, traditional views of running a corporation and all they're really doing is sinking the already sinking ship faster. If you're looking for a company where you are set in your role and you require no additional training then this is the company for you. My manager did nothing to help me even asking for additional training and mentor ship. ![]() I don't think the trainer meant any ill will, but clearly the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and other than the awful things you hear about this company in terms of their products and services it's clear there is a HUGE lack of leadership and guidance. My initial trainers told me my team would finish my training. My initial training had nothing to do with my role and once I actually got to my team other than asking for help here and there I was not given any other help. ![]() While the work/life balance flexibility is amazing and you are able to work from home I have issues with this company. ![]()
